How to read the result

Red lines with a minus are only in the original, green lines with a plus only in the new version. When a line changed you see both versions one under the other, with the words that differ highlighted. The numbers on the left are the line numbers in the original and the new version.

What it's useful for

Checking what changed in a contract, terms or an offer, comparing two drafts of website copy, or configuration files. “Ignore whitespace” and “Ignore case” help when formatting differences don't matter.

How large can the texts be?

Several thousand lines are no problem. Very large files take longer, since the comparison runs on your computer.
