How does it work?

A guide for clients: from your first message to a working site - what happens at each stage, roughly how long it takes, what the price is made of and what I'll need from you. No surprises.

  • 20 mina free call to start, no obligation
  • from 3 weeksfor a simple business website
  • 1 personone contact from the idea to launch

Step by step

Seven stages. At each one you know what's happening, what's on your side and what you get at the end.

  1. 00

First contact and a short call

    20 minutes online

You write through the form or book a time straight away. On the call you tell me about your business and what you want to achieve - I ask about the details and tell you honestly whether and how I can help. If it's not a project for me, you'll hear it right away.

    On your side
A few sentences about the business and the idea. No ready specification needed.
    Outcome
You know whether it's worth going further and where to start.
  2. 01

    Quote and timeline

usually within 48 hours of the call

You get the scope, a price range and a timeline with stages, in writing. The scope says clearly what's in the project and what isn't - so nobody is surprised later.

    On your side
Read it and ask about anything unclear. The quote commits you to nothing.
    Outcome
A concrete price, a date and a list of what you'll get.
  3. 02

    Contract and kick-off

    1–2 days

A short contract with the scope and the dates. Once it's signed, I reserve time for your project and we start.

    On your side
Sign the contract and send the materials you already have.
    Outcome
Your slot reserved and clear rules for working together.
  4. 03

    Design

    about 1–2 weeks

You show me what you like - competitors' sites, inspirations, anything. I design the look around your brand, then we refine it together. I only start coding once the design is approved.

    On your side
Inspirations to begin with, then feedback on the design - specific and fairly quick.
    Outcome
An approved design before a single line of code is written.
  5. 04

    Build

from 1–2 weeks to a few months - depending on the scope

I build the website, shop or app from the design. I send regular updates and show progress, so you see what's being made as it happens - nothing comes as a last-day surprise.

    On your side
Texts and photos (or the decision that I help prepare them), answers to questions.
    Outcome
A working version to review before launch.
  6. 05

    Testing, fixes and launch

    a few days

We check everything on phones and computers, polish the last details and I publish the site. I can take care of everything technical: hosting, the domain, email, SEO basics and analytics.

    On your side
Final feedback and the green light to go live.
    Outcome
The site runs at your address, and you know how to use it.
  7. 06

    Changes and growth after launch

    whenever you need

After launch I'm still here for you. Need a fix, a new feature, an update or an integration with a new tool? Write to me - I quote every change separately before I start, so you always know what you'll pay.

    On your side
Describe what you need and accept the quote for the change.
    Outcome
A site you grow with your business - at your pace and within your budget.

How long does it take?

Roughly, from signing the contract to launch. You get the exact date with the quote - and I stick to it. If something shifts, I tell you straight away.

Business website

from 3 weeks

A one-pager or a few pages: services, about, contact.

Online shop

from 6–8 weeks

Products, cart, payments, shipping and an order panel.

App or system

from 2–3 months

CRM, management panel, bookings, integrations - tools for running the business.

What affects the timing

  • How quickly I get the materials - texts, photos, logo.
  • How quickly feedback on the design and the test version comes back.
  • Scope changes along the way - we discuss each before it goes into the timeline.
  • Integrations with external systems that depend on their providers.

What makes up the price?

I don't have a "from X" price list, because such a figure is always higher than the real price - and you'd be the one paying for it. I quote once I understand what needs doing. The price depends mainly on:

Scope

How many pages and sections, which features: forms, bookings, a blog, search.

Design

A look designed from scratch for your brand, not a ready-made template. A logo and visual identity - if you need them.

Integrations

Payments, booking systems, CRM, newsletters, invoices - anything that should connect to the site.

Editing panel

Whether you want to change content, add posts and products yourself - and how capable the panel should be.

Content and languages

Whether the texts and photos are yours or I help prepare them. How many language versions.

Launch

Hosting, the domain, business email, SEO basics, analytics, GDPR and cookie compliance.

What the quote includes

  • The scope in writing: what's in the project and what isn't.
  • A price range broken down into the main parts.
  • A timeline with stages and dates.
  • External costs (domain, hosting, paid services) listed separately - no hidden fees.

How to prepare for the call

You don't need to have it all - we'll work out the rest together. But if you think about these questions, the call will be more concrete and the quote more accurate.

  1. What does your business do and who is it for?
  2. What should the site do: bring calls, enquiries, sales, bookings?
  3. 2–3 sites you like - and what exactly you like about them.
  4. What do you already have: a logo, a domain, texts, photos, a current site?
  5. A rough budget and a deadline, if it matters to you.

Let's start with a short call

20 minutes online, no obligation. After the call you get a quote and a timeline in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to what people most often ask before reaching out.

How much does it cost?

It depends on what you want to build — and that's not a cop-out. A "from X" price online is always higher than the real one, and you'd be the one paying that. So I quote only after I understand what actually needs doing. A 20-minute call is enough for me to come back with concrete ranges — for free.

How long does a project take?

A simple landing page from 3 weeks, a store from 6-8 weeks, a larger app from 2-3 months. You get a precise timeline together with the quote, and I stick to it — if something slips, I tell you right away, not in the final week.

What if I don't know exactly what I need?

That's normal and absolutely fine. The call is exactly for figuring that out together. Sometimes it turns out the client needs something smaller than they thought, sometimes larger. That's what I'm there for — to help you think it through before you spend any money.

Do you help after launch?

Yes, and it's the rule rather than the exception. Most clients stay on an ongoing arrangement — tweaks, new features, updates. We agree on terms you understand, no empty subscriptions.

Do you handle hosting and domain too?

I can take care of the whole thing — hosting, domain, deployment, email setup — so you don't have to deal with it. If you already have your own, no problem, I work with that too.

I don't have a design idea yet, what do I do?

That's my job, not yours. You show me what you like (other sites, your competitors, anything), I do the design and we agree on it before any code is written. I can do the logo and brand materials too, if needed.

Let's talk about your project

Briefly describe what you need and I'll reply as soon as I can. Rather talk right away? Pick a time for a short online call.
